Magnificent 7 - One Day Ride

We are delighted to promote our 'Magnificent 7' one day ride. We'll have the Siempre Skoda on the route from which we will be able to provide support including nutrition.

The Magnificent 7 is our epic tried and tested one day ride which takes in seven of the most challenging climbs in the Northern Costa Blanca. It's 165km with 3,500 metres of climbing. It includes two climbs over 1,000 metres (Port de Benafallim and Port de Tudons) as well as the ascent of the Coll de Rates used in the 2016 Vuelta a España.

Support from car at strategic points along the route

GPX file of route

Unlimited water from car

Energy gels and bars, plus cakes and bananas from car (fair use policy applies)

Space in car for one small bag (left at your own risk)

Spare wheels from car if required (Shimano 11 speed) 

Important Information:

The support car will be located at strategic points along the route, to keep you fuelled for the ride. We are planning on riding the route with one lunch stop (not included in price) in Torremanzanas. The average speed of the main group is expected to be around 24-26kmph. If you ride more than 10% outside of this we cannot guarantee support from car.  Therefore we ask that you only sign up if you are confident you can complete the ride at this pace.  We would also ask you to load the GPX route on to your device before the ride.   Places will be strictly limited to 10 riders.  We will ask to see a copy of your Covid vaccine passport or proof of a negative Covid test taken within 24 hours of the event.

At 78km Port de Tudon (from Relleu) 14km 4% 1025m

At 146km Coll de Rates (from Tarbena) 5km 2% 625m

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the ride if weather conditions or other circumstances dictate. In which case the €25 contribution will be refunded.

Bring bike lights in case of changeable weather or low sunlight.

No helmet, no ride.
