Everesting Weekend

We are delighted to announce our brand new tour starting in Alicante, followed by a ride to the historic city of Alcoy, then to Calpe and back to Alicante covering over 8,849m of elevation in 4 rides, the height of Everest.  A stunning tour featuring the highest climbs in the area as well as breathtaking coastal roads.

Included in the tour:

5 nights, 4 star, half board accommodation - 1 in Alicante at the start, 1 nights in Alcoy, 2 nights in the Gran Hotel Solymar Calpe and 1 further night in Alicante at the end of the tour.

Airport transfers from/to Alicante and the start/end of the tour.

​Itinerary:

Day 1 - Arrival transfer and bike set up, welcome drinks and meal out in the city.  (If time allows a warm up ride).

Day 2 - A 125km (2,500m) ride to Alcoy featuring climbs of Port de Tudons and Port de Benifallim and Port de Carrasqueta, all over 1,000m.

Day 3 - A 125km (2,200m) route to Calpe including the climbs of Port de Confrides, spectacular Guadalest descent and the ascent to Tarbena finishing with the Port de Bernia

Day 4 - A 120km (1,800m) Calpe loop starting with the Cumbre del Sol followed by Montgo mountain, Vall de Ebo and Pla de Petracos.

​Day 5 - The final 140km (2,400m) ride to Alicante featuring the famous Coll de Rates.

Day 6 - Transfer to Alicante airport (recovery ride if time allows).

Price: €1,349 per person sharing a twin room.  Single occupancy €299.

Also available for private groups - you set the dates.

Rim brake bike hire included.  Upgrades are available €60 (Di2), €90 (Di2/AXS/Disc).
