About the Event
We are delighted to announce our Spring cycling week which will be based at the 5 star Marriott Denia Golf Resort and Spa a favourite of many of the World Tour teams and cycling guests alike.
Included in the tour:
Half board accommodation at the recently refurbised 5 star Marriott Denia La Sella Golf Resort and Spa
Daily led rides with high ride leader/guest ratio
Support car for 4 rides (subject to minimum group size)
Support nutrition including gels, bars etc
Welcome pack and rider manual
Free wifi
Storage and maintenance space for bikes in brand new facility.
Transfers to/from Alicante airport (surcharge for Valencia airport)

With average temperature highs of 20 degrees, March in Denia is perfect to enjoy some cycling on varied routes, from costal rides, mountains and flatter options.

Sample Itinerary (to be taloired to the groups requirements):
Day 1 - After arriving, if timings allow a quick 30km spin to check the bikes.
Day 2 - A 100km (2,000m)  ride into the Jalón valley up the famous Coll de Rates and over the Puerto de Sa Creuta, followed by the newly resurfaced climb of Pla de Petracos and the 8km descent of Vall de Ebo.
Day 3 - An 85km ride including the 11km 1st category climb of Vall de Laguar and over the top into the Jalón Valley (only recently possible due to a newly paved road).  There is the option of a 40km extension including the 11km climb of Puerto de Bernia.
Day 4 - Rest day or optional morning recovery spin.
​Day 5 - The epic, for example a 145km (3,000m) variation of our El Segundo Dia route, based on stage 2 of the 2019 Vuelta España.  Taking in the Guadalest valley. The Cumbre del Sol (used in Vuelta 2015, 2017 & 2019) can be included at the end resulting in a 180km (3,600m) route.
​Day 6 - A 75km (800m) route along the coast and to the remote mountain village or Forna.
​Day 7 - A 110km (1,500m) route including the 22km climb of Vall de Gallinera followed by Vall de Ebo with the option of the newly resurfaced spectacular Alto de Miserat climb.

Protocols and practices are in place in light of the current pandemic, in relation to both the hotel and guiding.
